Lauren Britt Art

Here is a reintroduction one my current status and newer work! My name is Lauren Downing, and I am currently majoring in Commercial Art and minoring in Graphic Design at Pittsburg State University. I plan to graduate next year and hope to then find a career in my field of study.  Since attending PSU I have worked in many mediums and gained a great knowlege which can be seen though my work. During this semester I would like to continue creating work based on my former subject, "asking myself the question of what makes us who we are, and how we have became just that." I have also learned how to properly use a scanner and the correct levels to adjust certain work to. This leaves me anxious to upload more work because my recent photos weren't of good quality. Here is some of my recent work, completed on the iPad. My use of the inking pen tool in the application is due to inspiration from and inking class I am now enrolled in.
